In Darija, when you say “him” or “her” as the object, you usually attach the pronoun to the verb rather than putting it separately.
Mchit nchoufha → I went to see her
nchouf = see
-ha = her
Mchit nchoufo → I went to see him
nchouf = see
-o = him
So:
-ha → her
-o → him
And you can show the pattern:
verb + object pronoun
nchouf + ha → nchoufha
nchouf + o → nchoufo
One small correction: it isn't really that you "put the gender after the word." More accurately, the object pronoun indicating who receives the action is attached to the verb. The -ha / -o also tells you the gender of the person being referred to.
